Required skills: C# or/and Java
Nice to have skills: Database (DB2), MQSeries
ASF is a vehicle sequencing and scheduling system which has been developed by my client as custom solution for the customer. ASF performs the following tasks:
Sequencing of production orders It determines the production sequence of vehicles with respect to production and supplier constraints.
Scheduling of production steps It determines the time and assembly line where the production steps of each individual order should take place.
Reacting to critical events prior to the first production step It allows for resequencing and rescheduling, if the original schedule cannot be held due to production or supply problems.
Integrating suppliers The ASF schedule is used as input for the calculation of supplied parts. ASF is operational at all car assembly plants.
