Project description:
The service scope covers all life cycle aspects: participating in developing concepts, deploying concepts and infrastructures, operation/support as well as adaptations to customer (internal & external) needs.
As a member of the Authentication team, you will be working with a global team of experts, covering the life cycle aspects of a business critical service, ensuring the stability and maturity of the Active Directory service.
Tasks:
You will be part of the global service delivery of Authentication, based on Microsoft Active Directory, together with the team of experts in EMEA, Americas and APJ, performing different activities, including:
* Conduct backup/disaster recovery processes
* Provide 3rd level support on AD operations.
* Implement change requests on AD infrastructure
* Maintenance operation process (by regular process review, document update)
* Implement design changes on AD infrastructure
* Part of on-call duty on 7x24 operation
* Responsible for Patch management process on AD Infrastructure
* Monitoring processes and pre- handling
* AD Hardware monitoring and support
* Part of Incident management processes
Skills:
Experiencelevel: Senior Expert (more than 6 years of experience)
- Language: English, business fluent
- Comprehensive IT skills, i.e.
- NTFS/Sharing permission / File-Sharing
- WINS / DHCP / IIS Web-Services
- Scripting/Editing: (Batch/VBS/Power Shell) (1.0 and 2.0
- Window 2003 / Windows 2008 R2 (and all corresponding client systems)
- Ability to think conceptually, focus on goals, plan and organize, and make good decisions and judgments
- In-depth knowledge on Active Directory solutions
- Experience in working in virtual teams, with people of other cultures
- Project experience, particularly in international project management and infrastructure projects
- Excellent English language skills
