Our client has an open position based in Munich as Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer (f/m).
Background:
The current Business Review Tool must be transferred from a standalone IT-Excel-solution into the realm of the clients IT systems including maintenance and securitization of global availability
Given the high importance to ensure compliance, consistency, sustainable business development, it is essential to carry-out Business Reviews to take care of strategic alignment of the clients business units with statutory and regulations and requirements
Task description:
Create detailed business requirements
Creation of business requirements specification
Gap analysis of existing GREAT solution
Review functional requirements
UAT preparation & support
Enforce Global consistency for all OEs & LoBs
Application of implementation methodologies (SDLC, Prince2, ITIL, etc)
Communication Interface between the Business Representatives & Information Technology
Handover to IT community
Preparation of test strategy and test case
User Acceptance Testing
Support of Business Change department
Skills:
Professional insurance qualifications
Business expertise in a trading environment within the Financial Services sector
IT understanding (preferably Java/Eclipse knowlegde)
Knowledge of competitors and market movements within the Global Insurance solution providers is essential
Appreciation on interaction between the functional areas e.g. Sales, Underwriting, Claims, Finance
An understanding of end-to end processing within the insurance business environment e.g. from sales to finance
Written english and german skills are mandatory. Other languages are an advantage, especially French or Spanish
Flexible to travel to clients offices as and when required
