Next Ventures is currently executing a search for highly skilled Backup Technology solution Specialist for a 3 month initial contract opportunity to work in the city of Hamburg, Germany. The Project languages are German and English.
Experience and skills required:
- Knowledge and experience on
- Solution Design & Implementation on Backup Technology.
- EMC DATA Domain, EMC Networker and Symantec Netbackup 7.0
- EMC VNX, HP EVA storage.
- Backup knowledge: Symantec NetBackup, EMC Networker.
- Unix and Windows knowledge
- German and English speaking.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementation of the Backup Solution for Energy & Utility Client in Germany.
- Take up existing Tape Back assessment and Migrate it to Disk Based Backup with EMC DATA DOMAIN.
- Responsible for solution implementation to customer.
- Sizing of VTL, Tape library and defining the backup policies.
- Primary: Backup Technologies: Data Domain, Symantec Netback up, EMC Networker.
- Array: EMC VNX Unified Storage, HP EVA
