Software Configuration Manager and Software Tool DeveloperWe are looking for a software configuration manager who is also a software tool developer. These two roles will be needed in the ratio 50 to 50.
The configuration manager role is responsible for the configuration management plan, software project version control, software build process, creation of baselines and archiving. S/He works according to a defined configuration process and with an existing SW-tool-chain.
The software tool developer role is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of an existing software tool chain.
Main Tasks
- SW configuration management
- Maintenance and improvement of an existing SW tool chain
- SW tool development (Java, Eclipse RCP, C/C++, PHP, JavaScript, Perl, VBA, )
- Documentation, rollouts and training of users for SW tools and processes
- Successfully completed academic studies of computer science or a comparable education and/or sufficient experience
- In depth programming knowledge of Java/C++/C/PHP/JavaScript.
- Experience in Configuration Management Tools IBM Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest.
- High level of self-motivation, independence and flexibility.
- Analytical and target-oriented working attitude.
- Active, open and team-oriented personality.
- Good understanding of current software development technologies/techniques and tools.
- Fluent English and German language skills (spoken and written)
- Experience with tools for model based development (eg: Rational Rose Real Time, IBM RSA, Rhapsody)
- Experience with requirement engineering tools
- Experience with databases (eg: SQL/MS SQL).
