WebSphere Application Server (WAS) required for a 6 months contract based in Munich. This role is to start immediately and will be working for a consultancy on site at one of their biggest profile clients.
The WAS Administrator will need experience in and will be involved in the following:
- WAS Admin - critical
- Must have experience on application deployment using scripts - Jython, Shell Scripts, JACL and similar.
- Good knowledge of Java also required - mainly assisting in debugging problems in application logs and some applications will need coding in Java.
- Should have sound knowledge of IBM HTTP server and security in the IBM application stack.
- Knowledge of testing - any knowledge of penetration or performance testing would be very advantageous
- Linux skills essential.
The role is based in Munich is offered on a 6 months' contract.
This post attracts a daily of €350 - €400 per day.
