Next Ventures is currently executing a search for highly skilled Sungard Front Arena - Application Support Analyst for a 6 month initial contract opportunity to work in the city of Frankfurt. The Project language is English.
The Experience and skills for the Sungard Front Arena - Application Support Analyst position are:
1. Experience in Front Arena application support
2. In-depth understanding and experience in Europe Capital Market processes and Asset classes
3. In-depth understanding and working experience in of Fixed Income securities OTC Derivatives and structured exotic derivatives.
4. Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and process Oriented.
5. Client/user facing experience.
6. Knowledge of RDBMS concepts, SQL and UNIX/Windows
7. German language skills would be plus.
The Responsibilities for this Sungard Front Arena - Application Support Analyst position are:
1. Providing 1st and 2nd line application support - user level support, incident management, problem management and production support
2. Investigation and resolution of incoming functional issues (Front, Middle & Back Office) for complex instruments
3. Proactive ownership of open incidents - ensure resolution or workaround and escalation to Development Support as appropriate
4. Provide documentation as per-application support procedures
5. Liaison with other systems team that work alongside the front Arena applications
6. Liaison with associated Development and Test Project teams to best prepare candidate application build for Production deployment
7. Provide functional support for minor bug fixes, small scale enhancements, system releases and upgrades and perform user acceptance testing
