On behalf of our high profile telecoms client, I am looking for a Physical Layer Test Consultant to work a contract in Nuremberg.
Job description:
* Creation of LTE Physical Layer Test Scripts
* Physical Layer Test Case Development and Execution
* Using algorithm simulator as a reference in the testing
* Using Physical Layer test equipment (signal generator, logic analyzer and network simulators)
Required competence:
* Experience from Digital Signal Processing and algorithm simulation
* Experience with physical layer test on mobile or network side
* Bachelor of Science or similar degree in relevant Telecommunication/Engineering field
* Knowledge of LTE/UMTS/WCDMA/HSDPA/EUL or WLAN standards in the physical layer
* Preferred experience with Anritsu protocol test system MD8430A
* Knowledge of protocol software (Physical Layer) and RF characteristics
* Experience with systematic low-level test concepts and test execution
* Programming experience from C/C++ and Perl
