Your primary task will be to lead and implement verification and validation activities. As you will be involved in many major projects in different teams, you will also be expected to support the improvement of information communication processes and business processes.
Your responsibilities:
- Plan and implement verification and validation activities including:
o Plan and specify test approach and test cases, including production of all necessary documentation,
o Implement test plans, including execution of test scripts, as well as ad-hoc testing,
o Automate, run and execute performance tests,
o Record and later follow-up anomalies found during testing, - Coach software and system engineers in verification and validation processes,
- Review the Engineering Change Proposals and Change Requests from verification and validation point of view,
- Review technical documentation from verification and validation point of view, especially Requirements Specifications, and Business Process Documentation,
- Improve the verification and validation related working practices
- Support team leaders in the improvement and standardization of working practices, eg project management or application development related working practices
- Support the improvement of Business Processes, including ERP and Information Management processes.
Your profile:
- 5 years (minimum) of professional verification and validation experience in a MS Windows environment
- Extensive software testing experience in Oracle WebCenter Content/UCM 11g implementations and customisations
- Extensive bespoke software testing experience
- Experience in testing commercial applications implementation and customizations
- Experience in testing web based applications
- Knowledge of verification and validation related standards
- Knowledge of PRINCE2 and ITIL (especially change and configuration management)
- Experience in configuring and using automated testing tools, including automated performance testing tools
- Knowledge of Information Management Concepts, Enterprise Content Management and ERP systems
- Experience in soliciting user requirements
- Knowledge of virtualization systems and their use in verification and validation processes
- Knowledge of SQL, Java, Bugzilla and JIRA
- Knowledge of Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, JConsole, Empirix
