Global consultancy is recruiting for a deployment/operational project manager with strong focus on the technical coordination of the setup and implementation of systems and applications from test to production over the different project phases.
The services that they provide range from Mobile Consumer oriented services, Mobiles Payment- and Mobile data services to services for multi national corporations or SMEs to Intranet services and globally used enablers.
The main focus of the role is on the implementation of new technology and coordinating activities on the different technical layers including connectivity, hardware, OS/DB and applications, which are provided by different internal or external parties. A strong understanding of these layers is required to recognise set-up dependencies, support troubleshooting and arbitrate between providers for issue handling.
The role will include overall project management including controlling and reporting as well as management of operational issues during the project execution phase to ensure operational readiness and transition to go live. Depending on the nature of the service the role also covers demand assessment activities for feasibility studies and consolidated cost estimations.
Overall the role takes care that all customer needs are taken into account according to their priority and that the agreed scope is delivered on time.
