Quantity Surveyor
Düsseldorf
An exciting opportunity to work in Düsseldorf for a global mobile solutions provider for the telecommunication industry who are currently recruiting for a German speaking Quantity Surveyor.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the following:
*Providing support for the definition and evaluation of activities in new, remodelling and
dismantling of mobile stations on roof locations, mast locations and telecommunication towers
with regard to electrical services;
*Testing, preparing and reviewing of lightning protection systems (grounding systems, surge protection) *Analysing, evaluating and reporting to the project managers, regional project management and
contract management the costs incurred at each site, relative to the offer calculation and regarding non-contractual compliant services;
*You will be the single point of contact for team members;
*Offer support for the development or revision of specifications along with the ASP Management;
*Create the installer manual for the electrical field of infrastructure;
*Develop guidelines and tracking of electrical concepts
*Provide specialist technical reviews and approval of additional offers from subcontractors;
*Technical consultation with the customer in question electric;
*Participation in key project meetings;
*Collaborate with other departments or line organisations to develop highly technical issues.
The skills you will have as a Quantity Surveyor will be the following:
*You will have an electrical engineering background;
*Radio transmitting/receiving systems;
*VdS approved lightning protection and surge specialist for hazardous areas (BEx specialist), through grounding and bonding systems which meet the requirements of VDE 0100;
*Extensive knowledge in the planning for the electrical infrastructure for mobile base stations;
*Need to be aware of the compliance of the state of technology and technical regulations, legal requirements, professional association standards, technical connection conditions and the customer specifications;
*Demonstrates experience in defining process flows;
*A working knowledge of Quality Management.
