Test Architect - Start Oktober - Berlin
Definition of test architecture and processes and alignment with existing, agile SW development processes.
- Analyze, architect, design and implement testing systems using the best practices in the industry to deliver highly scalable and robust testing solutions.
- Define test cases, implement tests and test scripts for automated testing.
- Provide a conceptual framework for Routing & Guidance allowing the development teams to design and implement their own test solutions.
- Continuously improve our testing strategies and test coverage.
- Continuously improve the Quality of our SW products.
- Develop and contribute to long-term technical goals and strategies of the department.
Ihr Profil
- Academic Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a closely related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in software development and test automation in a commercial environment.
- Minimum 3 years experience in architecting test automation frameworks and applications for testability.
- Extensive knowledge of testing C & C++ based embedded products.
- Fluency in C++ using templates, abstractions, efficient resource handling.
- Solid knowledge in Linux, scripting and Java.
- Extensive knowledge of testing methods, practices, tools and test automation.
- Proven experience of delivery of test frameworks and suites. Experience in the navigation domain is a plus.
- Strong proven experience in embedded software test architecture in mobile operating systems.
- Likes solving diverse problems (hardware, software, networking, cross departmental) over solely designing software.
- Experiences writing black box and designing tests to mitigate risks and helping business experts to define requirements
- Tester qualification (e.g. ISTQB) is a plus.
- Experience with relational databases will be a plus
- Ability to work as a part of a self-organizing team in which you determine your tasks on a daily basis – that includes
- handling multiple tasks at the same time and working in a lively environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with developers, product managers and other team members
- good written and oral language skills in English
