The contract is with a large consultancy in Brussels to be on an assignment to a major European site in Cologne.
The SharePoint 2010 Infrastructure Architecture and Farm Administrator is responsible for infrastructure, topology code repository/deployment, and administration of multiple SharePoint 2010 farms and environments.
Tasks
- Maintain infrastructure of all environments;
- Installing new Sharepoint Servers/sites/services;
- Managing the deployment and testing of regular patches to multiple environments;
- Provide technical support and guidance to the SharePoint developers team;
- Securing and hardening the MOSS Farm infrastructure;
- Produce and maintain documentation for supported systems including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and detailed design documents;
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting the infrastructure, farm, design and deployment of enterprise wide SharePoint farm implementations;
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience administering SharePoint ;
Advantageous Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SharePoint backup, recovery, and disaster recovery;
- Strong experience in virtual environments;
- Minimum 3 years' experience administering user security in the SharePoint environment including the use of SharePoint and Active Directory groups;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in .NET using C# and ASP.NET, building web based applications;
- Strong project management and time management skills with ability to determine and balance priorities in high energy environment;
- Capable of working independently or in a team environment in support of SharePoint application and architectural initiatives;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document farm and application installation and configurations for the run and maintain team;
