This is a hands-on Technical Project Manager role, delivering into a Major Service Provider. The role involves the Project Management of the EMS and OSS Systems Integration for a major new Juniper Network rollout. The scope includes the EMS Design, Development and Integration of the EMS, and of software customization of the Juniper Router, into the Service Provider OSS/IT. The EMS PM will manage a small team of EMS & OSS SI Consultants, dependencies and deliveries from Engineering and from Sub-Contractors, report into the Programme Manager, and work with the customer PM and Technical teams, and deliver into the customer Acceptance Testing
Technical Skills Needed
- Ideal - Juniper Network Routers, Juniper EMS Experience
- Essential - EMS/NMS and integration into OSS/BSS/IT, Communications Service Provider (CSP) experience
- Advantageous - BRAS Subscriber Management, Business Edge EMS/OSS
Experience/Background Desired
- 6-10 years experience in delivering EMS solutions and integration into OSS/BSS/IT in Service Providers and/or Enterprise customers
- Minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing Project Management role
- BA/BS degree in a related area or equivalent project management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a target date of when this would be obtained
- Formal training and/or Certificate in project management from university or accredited program
Personal Skills/Attributes Sought
- Experience of designing and implementing NMS and OSS/BSS/IT solutions is essential.
- Proven capability to successfully manage and deliver EMS and OSS Systems Integration
- Effective planning & communication skills, excellent inter-personal skills, able to work on multiple projects.
