On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for Team Leader Radio Engineering based in Switzerland for contract basis to start ASAP.Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead, organize and develop the radio engineering team of 3-6 highly qualified engineers, overlooking the Radio Access Network (BSC, RNC, BTS, NodeB) according to the companies standards and processes.
- Support with the team the product development process in the areas of RAN/UTRAN and ensure the System Engineering of 2G/3G SW portfolio and HW/SW introduction into the radio access network (evaluation, specification, acceptance, project management)
- Ensure with the team the life cycle management of all assigned platforms and lead controlled network growth
- Provide support in strategic decisions regarding the RAN
- Provide network design and network changes proposals (optimization and/or planning) based on traffic changes and forecasts or project requests
- Provide project management for network changes, extensions
- Initiate and support internal implementations within networks
- Build guidelines on how to grow the network in a controlled and structured manner
- Ensure appropriate Engineering workforce to address current and upcoming projects and tasks in the RAN Area
- Ensure motivation and customer orientation in the RAN Engineering team, thus ensuring customer satisfaction as first priority. This team is one of the main contributor the TQNet strategy of the customer
- RAN systems and RAN related project responsibility
- Guarantee the necessary traffic capacity of the mobile network, by monitoring and planning the related interfaces and network elements.
Qualifications:
- Several years in an Engineering and/or Operations environment in a telecommunication company (Operator or supplier), preferably using NSN, Ericsson and/or Huawei equipment
- Strong leadership skills, several years experience as manager of teams or units
- Outsourcing experience is preferable
- Fluent English
