Oracle DBA/Administrator/Solaris or Linux - Germany
Responsibilities:
- Operating backup, backup and recovery of Oracle databases on Unix and Linux environment
- Monitoring and tuning of Oracle databases
- Incident, Problem and Change Processing
- Implementation of Standards to standardize databases operated
- Participation in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support, escalation of issues to the software manufacturer
- Participation in projects
- Implementation of availability, security and performance requirements
- Documentation
Requirements:
- Computer science degree or adequate training/experience
- Excellent knowledge in the Oracle environment, preferably on Solaris and/or Linux systems
- Experience in networked environments
- Process-oriented work, ITIL skills desirable.
- High autonomy and flexibility
- Teamwork and goal-oriented approach
- Fluent German, English desirable
- Reliable performance at the internal customers and software suppliers
- Experience with Oracle RAC desirable
- Willingness to work flexible
