Technical SEO Manager, 6 Month Contract (Possible To Go Perm), C. €50k Pro Rata, Frankfurt
My client is a leading company in the holiday rentals market and has a global presence. They are looking to hire a Technical SEO Manager for an initial 6 month period to cover maternity leave with a strong possibility of this role going permanent due to aggressive growth plans in 2013. This role will be based in Frankfurt, Germany.
The ideal candidate will have started their career as a Web Developer and over time moved into SEO meaning they will have a strong technical understanding relating to search engine optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and marketing of SEO domain portfolio, including development of multilingual websites, content production and web promotion and internal cooperation with various departments in-house
- Coordinating in-house SEO website development for all Central European brands and support day to day operations for the Central European Sites
- Competitive analysis
- Analyse site- and web performance, reports on success of online marketing activity (SEO impact)
- Test, plan and successfully execute SEO initiatives on global scale
- Hands-on optimisation, including improving site structure, page construction and keyword targeting
Key Skills:
- Proven track record in SEO
- Technical SEO skills, including the ability to evaluate and modify HTML, XHTML, XML,CSS, PHP and JavaScript
- Hands-on mentality
- Knowledge of Site Analytics solutions such as Google Analytics, Google Web Master tools
- Track record of onsite- and offsite SEO optimisation
- Excellent agency management skills
- Leadership skills
- Strong problem solving skills, and ability in coordinating a product strategy and roadmap a plus
- Language skills in one of the following languages a plus: Polish, Czech or Russian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian
- Good language skills in English and German
