Task:- Migration of the C++ backend of one of our applications to Java
- Devevelopment and maintenance of several applications in the "Point of Sales" environment (Java)
- Integration of artefacts in automated build and testing environments
- Close cooperation with your project team applying standard software development processes (e.g. SCRUM, RUP)
- Build up and continuously expand a sound knowledge on Java web technologies (Spring, Hibernate, Maven, etc.)
Requirements (Must have):
This position requires a broad and solid knowledge of the whole application lifecycle, several technologies and due to this some years of experience especially in:
- Java
- Oracle DB
- UNIX
- C++
- Integration skills (Shell-/Perlscripting)
- Good German skills, fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Independent working style, reliability and commitment is essential
- Flexibility to work in different environments and technologies and tasks
- Good self-organizational skills
Environment/Miscellaneous:
You will be working in the Software Development Pool of the Clients and Products division of the banks Wealth Management & Swiss Bank (WM&SB) IT.
The Software Development Pool is responsible for the technical realization and maintenance of software products used within WM&SB. It consists of software engineers from junior to senior level working all along the software development lifecycle - from requirements analysis, architecture and design to testing, deployment and maintenance.
The project team consists of 2 developers and a project leader.
