On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a SDH Design Engineer on permanent basis in Berlin. Eligibility to work in Germany and fluent German is required.Responsibilities:
• Network planning of SDH devices (synchronous digital hierarchy) at the customers network
• Planning TCP/IP management connection for SDH devices (DCN design)
• Generate work packs for installation on site (rack layout, clock, E1 distribution frame etc.)
• Coordinating, monitoring and if necessary starting escalation of the sub departments
• Updating project related data in the customers IT-Systems
Qualifications:
• Knowledge SDH and IP layer 2 and 3
• Finished apprenticeship in telecommunications area, for example IT-Systemelektroniker
• At least 2 years experience in telecommunications area
• Capability to coordinate projects
• Knowledge of microwave is an advantage
• Work independently and reliable
• Good German language skills, basic English language skills
