On behalf of our client, an international corporation from the Automation industry, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a number of IT-Administrator for EMEA User Helpdesk and Windows Support in the Stuttgart on a permanent basis.
Your assignment:
-Supporting the product management team for general organizational activities in the user help desk team with 1st and 2nd level support, while maintaining error-free functionality, availability, security and system performance
-Implementation of current projects
Supporting the Infrastructure team on 3rd-level support
-Installation, setup, maintenance and care of Windows clients, including Windows standard software and mobile devices (eg BlackBerry, iPhone, etc.)
-Ticket processing via the ticket system and advising the staff on issues
-Supervision and monitoring of backups, and antivirus software
Requirements:
-Qualified IT professional or equivalent qualification or equivalent knowledge from a long professional practice
-Several years experience in IT Administration with expertise and demonstrable experience in the administration of virtual environments
-Extensive knowledge in the management of Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows R2 server and the Lotus Notes 8 infrastructure
-Experienced application of process models according to ITIL
-In-depth knowledge of hardware and software specifically for MS Office , Windows XP / 7
-Ideally: experience in dealing with an enterprise anti-virus solution (eg. Symantec Endpoint Protection)
-Very good command of spoken and written German and English
