GFT is seeking a test analyst, with experience of non-functional testing for a role with our client.The successful test analyst will be performing non-functional testing of my client portal (based on Liferay with an Ajax front-end) and other associated projects using LoadRunner.
You will be expected to:
• Identify testing risks and issues.
• Assist in automation activities.
• Assist in all aspects of testing as directed by the test lead/manager.
• Provide regular progress updates to the test lead/manager against the test schedule.
• Review results of sample of tests.
• Consult business representatives in confirming results.
• Ensure results and evidence are recorded in line with departmental standards.
• Input defects in accordance with the department standards.
• Review the tests and reporting of other testers.
• Ensure that all testing issues are escalated in a timely manner to the test lead/manager and the appropriate project stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with all testing partners and key stakeholders
• Work with Business, Development and Support teams to ensure all testing activities are structured, appropriate and controlled.
Skills required:
LoadRunner (plus QTP)
Data injection experience (injecting data into webservices, MQ/JMS)
Ajax Handling (LoadRunner - Web Custom Request)
Scripting (grep, cut etc.) to pull data from logs.
Responsibilities will include:
• NFR testing to determine the Portal SLA’s.
• Testing time taken for the basic functionalities of the portal
• Base-lining the Portal.
• NFR Testing of an Ajax Push solution.
