A contract Project Support Analyst opportunity is available at the German-based head office of a Pan-European Energy Trading company. The successful support analyst will assist a Project Manager with the reporting and tracking of an ongoing work-stream. Ideally you will have a formal project management qualification such as Prince2 and have career experience in the energy trading of investment banking sector. German language skills are preferred.Responsibilities:
. Assist the project manager to track actual costs and reforecast.
. Assist the project manager to monitor tasks and update plans.
. Assist the project manager to set-up and maintain the project files.
. Set-up and maintain the project booking codes in SAP
. Track project invoicing
. Track project resource time recording
. Track meeting minutes and any actions that result.
. Assist the project manager to record, track and monitor risks, issues and dependencies.
. Assist the project manager with monthly project status reporting.
. Assist the project manager to answer any project queries from the PMO.
. Collate project lessons learnt.
. Assist the project manager to maintain the required project management reporting systems.
Skills:
. A background in Support or Administration and at least 2 years working successfully in project environment
. Previous PMO or project delivery exposure would be helpful
. Experience in a multi national team environment is desirable
. MS Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
. SAP
. Strong stakeholder management skills
. Excellent English communication skills
. German language skills would be advantageous
. Candidates with Energy trading and/or investment banking experience will be highly regarded.
