On behalf of our client, a prestigious International Telecommunications Company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for several Solutions Manager OSS – Germany Düsseldorf on 6 month rolling contract. Düsseldorf Germany.
· The architecture design of OSS solutions/ products are highly demanding and challenging. experts with rich experience and field knowledge in telecom network OM and OSS are welcomed .The network Solutions Department is mainly responsible for solution design and project delivery in the integrated OSS solution field, the experts are expected to have consulting and customer guiding capability in this field.
· Within the scope of your areas of expertise and responsibility you will:
§ Leading R&D team on solution/product architecture design or system design. Ensure the solution/product have expendable and flexible architecture, to support the business requirement from market.
§ Analyze industry benchmark and industry standards, identify the gaps between our solution/product and similar main stream solution/product (e.g. IBM Tivoli, HP Openview, etc.), and figure out the trend of industry.
§ Analyze our client`s managed service business, follow industry best practices and develop solutions to bridge the gaps between the network OM organization structure, service processes, and IT tools, in order to better support managed service business and improve competitiveness.
§ Analyze and verify requirements, and enclose the requirements in the product roadmap.
§ Plan new products according to the requirements of service development, have capability to lead the R&D team to finish requirement analysis, solution/product design, development plan, and track the development of the design on E2E mode.
§ Capability building for key solution and product technologies based on the industry technology development trend and requirements of managed services.
· Identify the weak points and problems of managed service through surveys and interviews and develop solutions and propose suggestions for operation solution..
Requirements:
· Bachelor or higher degree (desired) in computer science, electronics engineering, or communications
· At least twelve years experience in main stream OSS players, such as HP, IBM, Telcordia and Ericsson, etc.
· Knowledge of network O&M, industry standards and operation processes. Capable to streamline customer requirements and to identify key requirements.
· Experience on requirement analysis and business modeling in fault management, performance management and operation processes fields.
· Experience on J2EE architectural design, profound understanding on SOA and related architecture designing. Better to have Telco software experience. The expert who had E/// MSDP solution experience will be the first priority.
· Experience on leading a team, or independently managing the solution design in Large-scale projects.
· With high reliability and high-performance architecture design experience, capable to finish the architectural design for server cluster, database cluster (such as Oracle RAC), middle ware cluster and distributed computing.
· Experience on specific area in architectural design, including but not limited to: business intelligence, workflow engine, fault management, performance managements, etc.
· Knowledge of mainstream OSS products and capable to analyze and identify defects and problems of OSS solutions.
· Worldwide short-term travels are required
