A Global name in electronics and design is currently seeking a CAD Consultant, 3D Modelling, GD&T, BOM, SAP, German Speaker to take the position of onsite liaison to be located in Simmern, Germany to work on new product development projects and lead and coordinate engineering design work with multiple delivery teams worldwide (US, India, etc).
Please note that the ability to speak German is desired although not essential. Those candidates with German Language skills will be given priority.
As the CAD Consultant, 3D Modelling, GD&T, BOM, SAP, German Speaker you will need the following skills and experience:
* 3+ year Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer with Design Experience required.
* CAD experience (3D Modeling, drafting, GD&T, BOM, etc) required.
* Autodesk Inventor required.
* Inventor Vault experience.
* Sheet metal Design Experience.
* Experience with pneumatic and/or pressurized systems.
* German Language desired.
* SAP experience.
* Experience with electrical systems desired (layout, wiring, harnessing, controls, etc.).
* Experience working with vendors.
* Strongly independent with excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Project leader.
* Possess ability to maintain effective working relationships with support groups, demonstrated time management and a strong sense of initiative.
Please note that this position is based in Frankfurt therefore you MUST be able to work without restrictions in Germany. Thi position is being advertised at Market rate.
