A successful blue chip company are looking for an IT Operations Manager for one of their data-centres in Hamburg.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations including 24x7 and Network teams, monitoring and making sure that SLA's are met.
The successful Operations Manager must have previous experience in a operations and data centre environment and well as excellent technical skills, including Unix in particular.
Fluency in German and English is essential
Other responsibilities:
- Manage team workload
- Handle incident reports
- Ensure incidents are resolved in a timely manner
- Interface with development group on any system updates/upgrades
- Ensure SLA's are met
There is an on-call aspect to this role and you will be expected to be available after hours for emergencies.
The successful candidate for this role will need to pass a background check prior to starting the role.
