My direct client based in Hamburg is urgently looking for an experienced IT Document Controller for the operations team in Hamburg, German language skills are an absolute must to be considered for this opportunity.Job Title: IT Document Controller
Reports to:Project Document Manager and Interface Manager
Job Purpose:
The responsibilities of the IT Document Controller are the support of the documentation and the operation of the project management system to be used by the project team and suppliers.
He/she is working in close contact to the Project Document Manager and reports to him and the Project Interface Manager
Responsibilities:
- supervision of document management guidelines
- implementation of configuration requirements in thinkproject! (document management software)
- To attain super user status in the project EDMS thinkproject! program.
- Executing of thinkproject! trainings for the project members and suppliers
- Help/user Support. Contact person for the project team regarding document management questions
- Help/user Support. Contact person for all external contractors and support in hand-over of documents to the project team
- quality control of the project documentation
- maintenance and administration of the project room
- Support the archiving of the project hand-over documentation
Job requirements:
- Relevant experiences in document management in large infrastructure projects
- Great knowledge of special tools and softwares, ideally thinkproject!
- Excellent skills of written and spoken German and English language
- Very good communication skills
- Self starter, highly motivated
- Experienced in (further) development of document management methods and procedures
- Competent with standard software packages, email, Word, Excel, MS-Project and PowerPoint
