This challenging position requires travelling of 3 days per week in average, mainly to the U.K. As a Business Specialist you will work in a global IT improvement project. For Synthesis 2, a global, cross-sector project to deliver standardized, fully integrated, e-enabled, best practice commodity strategy, sourcing, contracting and supplier management processes.- Being the workstream lead and focal point for the data work package within the project, representing all data related workstreams towards the overall project manager
- Project manage all data related project activities, such like data integrity concepts, data cleansing, data mapping, provision of extracts from source systems, data validation and testing, development and implementation of the future global governance
- Manage the global data team project resources
- Lead business change activities required to establish a compliance culture
Essential Skills
- Project management
- Business process design and improvement
- Profound knowledge of the following systems: SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP Sourcing, BaaN, Cognos, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Excel
- Data migration/ data structure knowledge
- Ability to be able to work effectively in the English language
Advantageous Skills
- Knowledge about Supplier Portal solutions and e-procurement tools (EDI or similar), Oracle, Access, Ariba
- Problem resolution
- Negotiation
- Export Control
Depth of Experience
- Min. 5 years experience in leading improvements in the areas of process, data and IT solutions
- Min. 3 years Purchasing experience
