Storage Engineer - Herzog, Germany
Storage Engineer is required to join a leading consultancy in Herzog, Germany. As the Storage Engineer you will cover the breadth of storage infrastructure in a challenging and dynamic environment. My client is offering an initial 3 month contract, however the project should go on for 12 months.
Responsibilities include:
*Storage POC evaluation and familiar with the products: HP EVA; EMC Vmax; HP 3Par
*RemoteOffice VMware, DataDomain design and implementation
*VMware migration from V4 to v5
*Implementation of VMware global standard
*Reporting of capacity, performance and availability across all regions of VMware and Storage
*VCloud Director implementation and service definition and documentation
*Farm documentation, automatic deployment as well design and implementation
*Global rollout and onside travelling
Ideally you will have certifications and knowledge of the following areas:
*SNIA - SCSA SNIA Certified Storage Architect
*SNIA - SCSP SNIA Certified Storage Professional
*VMware Certified Professional (VCP) 2,3,4,5
*HP - APC StorageWorks Solutions Architect
*EMC Technical Architect (Storage)
*EMC - Technology Architect Network Attached Storage (NAS) Specialist V 5.0 (EMCTA)
*HP Converged Infrastructure
*MS - MCSE Windows Server 2003
*Linux - LPIC-1 Certification
*VCloud Director
