For one of our clients we are looking for a Big Sites Migration Team Tech. LeadTask Description:Networks Migration, role searched for Big Site Migration Team which is responsible for: conducting necessary steps to perform the network transformation of all big sites across the EMEA region.This will include:
Analysis of site survey data, identifying the gaps and to provide guidance to the remediation teams;
Producing site specific design documentation.
Create Designs: High Level Designs (HLDs)which will define circuit requirements and hardware to be installed at each site, whereas the Low Level Designs (LLDs) will provide details of the network configurations.
Planning activities to ensure smooth migration, resulting in a network implementation plan that will define step by step how the site will be implemented.
Implementation and cutover
Lead the deployment of the big sites (design and migration) from a Technical Perspective.
Provides technical leadership to Implementation Leads, and assists with Data Transformation activities, such as HLD designs, planning and configuration.
Takes accountability of LLDs, reviews and signs-off for LLDs and configurations
Main task:
Remediation: review completed site surveys and ensure that they are accurate and contain sufficient detail;
coordinate creation of remediation requirements documents and activities;
coordinate with local client IT mangers if there are any queries regarding information gathered.
Circuits: Ensure Circuit team have all necessary information for circuit sizing and technical decisions; assess whether suggestions from Technical Analysts/off shore designer are appropriate.
Design: Coordinate creation and review all key technical documentation related to the design of the project - HLDs, LLDs, Implementation Plans, Configs, Sequence of Events and change management templates;
Manage workload of Technical Analysts and coordinate off shore resources;
Identify site specific issues relating to the design;
Identify Firewall requirements and complete dynamic/fixed re-IP Addressing requirements
Hardware: Decide on appropriate hardware to meet the needs of a site;
Create a Bill of Materials containing all the hardware which needs to be ordered
Release specific: Raise any issues as they appear and make the Implementation Lead aware of them; if necessary travel to the site and assist third parties in cutover/deployment activities in order to complete transformation;
Manage and report the progress of the transformation;
Provide issues list (for lessons learnt log) arise during deployment, capture the resolution in log, to enable issues to be shared with wider team;
Ensure all services are working as per SLA, after migration and inform Implementation Lead for sign off; Interact with Allianz site manager & other business units within site, to capture issues, analyze and provide resolution;
Work with team to prepared GNOC operations handoff document with all required details for smooth transitionRequired skills: Network Operations (expert)
