Currently our end client whi is a market leader in the Renewable Energy sectore constructing, maintaining and operating of shore wind farms along European coast lines, is in urgent need of an experienced contracts engineer:Location: Hamburg
Contract type:Project contract (envisaged duration app. 4 years until mid/end 2016)

Job Title: Contract Engineer
Reports to:Logistics Package Manager
Responsibilities:
-Advising the Project Manager and other project staff in the handling of subcontractors and consortium agreements to secure our rights and contractual claims
-Securing of evidence and documentation of contract variations and other claim-related events
-Coordination of project participants as part of the claim management
-Checking all logistic contracts
-Supporting negotiations (technical and commercial) due to excellent English language skills
-Checking offers technically and support Legal and Procurement
-Checking and commenting the individual documents
-Creating a deviation list
-Leading change request list
-Preparation of contract work trainings for entire team
-Supporting Logistics Package Manager regarding Procurement and Legal
Qualifications:
-Successfully completed a university degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or civil engineering, but also industrial engineering or business law
-Very good knowledge of contract and claims management as well as project and risk management
-Fluent in German and English
-Many years of experience in project/investment business with complex contract structures
-Initiative - ability to make decisions - team spirit - communication skills - planning and organizational skills
