For one of our clients we are looking for a System Engineer Windows (Active Directory) m/f via AÜG (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung = Labour Leasing)The Consultant is to provide technical expertise in the following areas:
The System Engineer – Windows (Active Directory) expert will join the Systems Section and there
contribute to the maintenance and support of the existing Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 r2
Active Directory domains and to plan and implement the migration of Windows 2003 to Windows
2008 r2.
Active Directory is also a key component for the Identity and Access Management infrastructure
based on Oracle Access Management and the expert will be expected to contribute directly to the
integration, maintenance and support of Active Directory and OAM
The expert will also maintain and support the System Center components which provide Windows
services in the LAN and in the secured DMZ segments.
The System Engineer – Windows (Active Directory) expert is to provide technical expertise in the
following areas:
- Provide 3rd-level support for Windows Active Directory Domains, including monitoring;
identifying any need for preventive or remedial maintenance throughout the use of diagnostic tools
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve system problems using available tools and referring to external
suppliers if required, as well as assisting 1st and 2nd-level support staff
- Participate in the design of complex IT solutions to the Windows Server based systems
- Participate in the design of security policies to the Windows Server based systems
Requirements:
- Very good command of English
- Advanced university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Physics
- Microsoft Windows server administration
- Microsoft Active Directory design and deployments
- MS SQL Server skills
- Oracle Access Manager / Oracle Identity Management skills
- Knowledge of Windows Scripting
- Implementation and maintenance of Windows services
- System Center Operations Manager and System Center
- Configuration Management
- Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and best practice (such as ITIL)
