We are seeking a Business Application Expert (m/f) for one clients.Tasks:
The System Engineer – Business Applications expert will join the Systems Section and there coordinate the final steps for the implementation and hand-over to operations of a Business Objects centralised service which will be used for various business applications. The System Engineer – Business Application expert shall provide technical expertise, specifically for the application Business Objects XI and DI versions 3 and 4, in particular, in the following areas: collecting business and security requirements for the shared infrastructure; formalise the processes for the on boarding of new business applications and administration of the infrastructure and for its operations and maintenance; the expert will also maintain an overview of the scheduled activities, provide 3rd-level support for the Business Objects Shared Infrastructure; investigate, diagnose and resolve system problems; provide training to 1st and 2nd level support staff; participate in the design of security policies; contribution to IT project in the preparation, implementation and deployment phase of IT services and systems; maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation;
