We are looking for a Project Manager as part of an insourcing project, due diligence phase
Recording of the actual population of a data center server
Hardware and software configuration
Utilization and performance data
Assignment of Servers to business applications (methods) and infrastructure services (DNS, directory, etc.)
Backup and Archiving
Acquisition of data center internal data networks including security mechanisms
Conducting customer interviews for data collection and subsequent recording
Structuring and analysing the data and delivery to the due diligence report
Assisting in the development of Transitions strategies
Required Skills:
Project management with responsibility for the work package "platform"
Conduct interviews with customers
confident manner
structured work
Good knowledge of general office communications products: MS Office 2003, Lotus Notes
Good knowledge of data center operations
Good knowledge of the following platforms: Windows, Sun Solaris, Linux (Red Hat)
Good knowledge of IP Networks
Good knowledge of server technologies (mid-range Servers, BladeCenter)
Desirable Skills
Knowledge about processes and tools in the logistics industry - processes (ITIL/rune)/tools (PSC, etc.)
