For our client, an international company from the telecommunication area we are searching a Systems Engineer Tester/ Nokia Utran(m/f)You are responsible for acceptance tests of complex and closely meshed Telco- and IT systems. Based on the test results, the recommendation for approval is given to the customer and thus for operational use and rollout. The working area includes in particular the radio systems (RNC and NodeB) of the manufacturer Nokia for 3G with the appropriate Telco-interfaces for monitoring and configuration management systems.- Provide a detailed test specification
- Execution of tests
- Securing and tracking of required supplies
- Conduction of acceptance and regression testing of new technology releases
- Creation of a documentation of results
- System-wide, detailed fault analysis
- Fault list creation and collaboration with the manufacturers for the solution
- Analysis and optimization of the testing process and the cross-functional work processes
- Potential analysis, design and implementation of measures for the automation of test cases- University degree, ideally in Telecommunications, or equivalent education
- Expert in testing of radio network elements (LTE, UMTS, GSM)
- Expert in the field of 3G radio network elements (eg RNC / NodeB Nokia) and interfaces to the monitoring systems
- Experience in the area of 2G radio network elements (eg BSC / BTS NSN) and interfaces to the monitoring systems is an advantage
- Experience in the area of protocols for LTE, UMTS, GSM is absolutely necessary
- Experience in the area of measurement technology (eg, Tektronix K15, JDSU SART, CMU300) and measurement methods (such as logs, RF)
- Expert for the different radio interfaces (Iu, Iur, Iub)
- Detailed knowledge of the radio link interfaces (ATM, STM, IP)
- Detailed knowledge of IP and the surrounding protocols
- Knowledge of MS Office & MS Project
- A very high degree of initiative, flexibility, excellent German and English language and communication skills
