A world leading Chipset Vendor in the Mobile Wireless Sector based in the Munich area requires a Technical Project Manager to be responsible for the planning, tracking and reporting of projects in the area of mobile handsets, according to the SW development process.
Tasks:
-Setting up and maintaining project plans in MS Project Enterprise (with tooling to link MSPE to other data bases as for requirements management and change request tracking)
-Aggregation of different component MS Project plans of SIT organisation:
-Assemble "big picture" plan based on "summary tasks" from sub functional plans,
-Optimise critical path to match critical milestones
-Following up with component leads on critical issues
-Track project status together with component plan owners of SIT organisation
-Project Planning updates
-CCB (Change Control Board) for SIT topics
-Analyse Project KPIs (Key Performance Indicator), break it down for SIT and define measures together with the component leads
-Regular reporting to the functional head of SIT and to the System and SW Project Manager
