*Senior Hardware Baseband Engineer* - Contract in Southern Germany
Our client is looking for an engineer in electronics, specialist of baseband development for a contract position in Bavaria
Main tasks for the Baseband Engineer:
- Solve technical issues related to baseband.
- Review schematics and designs.
- Train customer teams and customer support level 1 team.
- You will also provide your expertise to our current developments.
- You are also able to take HW project management responsibilities. For that role, you would be in charge of the coordination of HW boards development and the implementation of test strategy.
You will:
- Consolidate project plan according to our internal and external customers requirements.
- Follow the schedules, manage the risks and changes in order to meet the deadlines, the cost and quality of final product.
- Issue downward and upward reports.
- Manage relationships with our internal and external interfaces.
- You will work closely with our HW team, as well as digital design and SW teams, and with our outsourcers for boards production.
Requirements for applicants:
- Engineer in Electronics.
- At least 4 years experience in the mobile phones industry.
- Proven ability to manage a project and motivation for technical coordination activities.
- Good knowledge of CPU, DSP, memories, cameras, touch screen, wireless connectivity, high speed interfaces (such as USB and MIPI), as well as very high density PCB development.
- Skills in RF, audio and energy management would be valuable.
- Fluent English required.
