Proteus Europe operating as an employment business, is currently seeking an English speaking Capacity Manager
Environment: SAP ERP Platforms
Accountabilities:
- Accountable for development and evolution of technical platforms
- Owns the environment platform design (up to database level) for all services
- Translates capacity requirements for new demands received from demand project teams, specifying required processing power (SAPs), RAM, storage, into updated environment/platform design, identifying Servers required to be added or upgraded
- Align environment and platform strategy with Data Centre and Network
- Creates and maintains a framework for technical capacity management and reporting
- Defines, agrees, and establishes capacity management process for services
- Run capacity and performance reviews with support and operations suppliers
- Provides input to budget planning for hardware and Data Centre and Network services

- Support Problem Management for performance and capacity related problems

- (Updated) Environment (platform) Designs for Services
- Process documentation for technical capacity management
- Questionnaires to collect capacity and performance requirements from system integrators and business teams
- Capacity and performance reports
- Technical capacity forecasts for Services
- Accuracy of capacity forecasts
- Total cost of ownership for environment/platform extensions

- Experience and proven success in capacity management for SAP systems
- Strong experience in design environment for SAP services
- Strong analytical skills
- Good knowledge of the platform architecture of our client
- Strong communication & facilitation skills
- English (fluent) MANDATORY
