Task:- Plan and manage projects over their entire life-cycle
- Act as Sybase?s primary interface to the client project manager and other key client stakeholders
- Coordinate amongst all project participants across locations and time zones to ensure effective communication, decision making and issue resolution
- Critically review functional specifications received from client for clarity, completeness and consistency and perform clarifications where necessary
- Explain functional specifications to technical team
- Manage scope against agreed requirements
- Monitor project progress and ensure project delivery on time/budget/quality
- Report status, manage issues and risks
- Actively manage the user acceptance testing process, own the issue resolution process on a day-to-day basis
- Manage change requests
Requirements (Must have):
- Masters or Bachelors degree in IT/Computer Science or related discipline, or similar educational background
- Solid IT background, preferably with three-tier applications in a Java / Oracle environment
- Experience in projects for developing or customizing highly integrated business applications
- Experience in requirements gathering and project management
- Industry experience in financial services, telecommunications and/or mCommerce would be a plus
- Ability to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders and drive issues to resolution
- Strong sense for priorities
- Self-starter attitude, pro-activeness, initiative and drive
- Effective communicator, team player
- Fluency in English and Russian
