Our a client is leading the way in their field, they are in need of a Senior Developer to work within their IT team, supporting the ongoing development and implementation of their business systems. Working as part of an agile development team the Senior Developer will be responsible for the development, implementation and support of enterprise solutions using Microsoft technologies and products.
Duties and Responsibilities
This role will primarily consist of full life cycle bespoke solution development on a base of Microsoft technology and products. It will include involvement in every tier of the application, from the database through to the user interface. Solutions will include Windows Forms and web based development.

Duties will include:
*Analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation and support of applications based on Microsoft products/platforms such as .NET and BizTalk.
oEnhance standards, collateral and service offerings.
*Liaising with customers, team members, project managers and 3rd parties.
Technical skills, experience & knowledge
Essential
*3 years experience in a Senior Developer role
*5 years development with .NET Framework, C#, Web Services, IIS, SQL Server & T-SQL.
*Solid knowledge and experience of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 IDE
*Solid knowledge and implementation experience of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
*Knowledge of N-Tier architectures, scalability and integration issues and an understanding of Service Based architectures including messaging and orchestration.
*End to End development including Presentation, Business logic and Database layers
*Experience in Object Oriented architectures and approaches.
*Sound knowledge of Microsoft client and server operating systems & technologies
*Sound knowledge and experience of agile development frameworks such as Scrum, XP, Lean.
*Experience using agile techniques such as continuous integration, automated unit testing, etc.
*Language skills: English - business level for spoken & written.
*strong adherence to practices such as source code control, change management, specification and documentation
