Datawarehouse Architect, Informatica, German Speaking A superb minimum 6 month contract has become available for a German Speaking Datawarehouse Architect. The role will be based in Frankfurt, Germany.
During the course of the contract you will:
- Conduct architecture Assessments from a ETL perspective, addressing the solution requirements from a scalability, flexibility, connectivity, batch performance, Real Time connectivity, reusability etc.
- Knowledge of handling data quality requirements using Informatica Data Quality, Profiling, Address doctor will help in the overall data integration
- Architecting Solutions with data integration depth in delivering complex data warehousing projects or enterprise data integration initiatives in a cost effective and operationally efficient manner
- Expertise in handling various aspects of ETL architecture and drive workshops for customers to arrive at efficient architecture. Build point solutions, proof of concepts on focus topics like data integration, Real Time data integration, CDC based data integration and overall Datawarehouse performance optimization
- Guide the project team in terms of enterprise wide data integration best practices, standards and ensure that project teams are following the recommended practices
- Work collaboratively with the center of excellence in driving data integration specific solutions and support in doing beta testing of data integration product releases, tool evaluation of different ETL vendors, proof of concept of making data integration products work with Informatica Platform.
- Thought leadership in evaluating the various trends in data integration space, building competency in the emerging areas like cloud data integration etc, and build solutions around the emerging areas for addressing client specific issues.
- Supporting Knowledge management and Practice specific initiatives around data integration.
Candidates must have
- Extensive experience in architecting data warehousing solutions, data integration solutions for large scale global data warehousing/data integration programs.
- Should have a good technical background on Informatica Data Integration stack particularly Power Center, Power Exchange, Data Quality, B2B Data Exchange & Transformation, Cloud Data Integration, Data Services etc.
- The architect should have hands on experience on using multiple components of the Informatica stack with in-depth knowledge of creating the solution architecture, sizing solutions, Design, technical specs, code, review and coding/Naming standards.
- Architect should be able to conceptualize and design end to end ETL strategy by understanding the requirements.
- Experience in Metadata Management, handling Real Time scenarios and XML
