B2B Digital Marketing Project Manager

Edelway AG is a pan European business services consultancy. One of our best clients, a global multinational pharmaceutical based in Hamburg, Germany, is currently looking for a B2B Digital Marketing Project Manager to help them driving their marketing strategy.
Length of the mission: 6 months.
Languages: German mother tongue, fluent English.

THE ROLE
Responsible for driving the B2B digital marketing strategy, from setting up and selling a vision for Germany through to flawless execution of initiatives ranging from stand alone projects to integrated campaigns, and finishing with tracking to drive continuous improvement.

YOUR TASKS
Digital Marketing:
To be responsible for delivering the company’s B2B and B2C digital / online marketing strategy, planning and budget to drive the business forwards through new marketing channels.
To be responsible for managing online branding, communications and campaigns through the company website, eCRM and building the online community
To work with the Marketing Manager and Product Managers to plan and implement all online marketing campaigns including digital campaign collateral
To be responsible for identifying and prioritising digital marketing objectives
To manage the use of digital media to support the company’s product strategy
To be responsible for managing the online marketing budget
To develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and third party providers.

Marketing strategy, plans and communication:
Determine strategies, tactics and measures to delight customers in order to achieve leadership target
Create a digital communication strategy in line with overall German plans.

Operational marketing & Marketing activation plan:
Manage external agencies, primarily for German plans.
Establish success criteria of all activity and measure against specific KPI’s with the help of online analytics, according to business objectives
Execution of professional marketing plans within agreed priorities

Budget management:
Negotiate & monitor budget allocated for marketing plan execution.

Market Intelligence:
Build in-depth understanding of the needs of customers through focus groups, panels and other research initiatives.


YOUR PROFILE

Background required:
• Proven experience in digital marketing
• Strong understanding the digital landscape and how it can be used to support and develop the brand
• Good experience and understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Experience of digital content management
• Familiarity with brand marketing sites
• Search engine experience, including the ability to generate inbound links from the internet
• Proficiency using tools to track and report on response rates, traffic and pick up
• Experience of campaign management e.g. Google AdWords, AdMob, Email
• Experience of budgeting, reporting and analysis (Excel)
• A good working knowledge of web analytics
• Proven ability to create a brief, manage relationship with agencies (deliverables & negotiation of budget) & follow up planning & deliverables sticking to deadlines.

Qualification
• Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent (Business / Marketing preferred)

Preferred
• Understanding of marketing research tools and design
• Effective messaging for health care professionals
