Infrastructure Engineer Networks Servers Web Services
Our client based in Dussledorf have a 6 month initial contract opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer.
You will be responsible for
Design, delivery and maintain the IT infrastructure of Telecom operators. This critical and complex infrastructure includes networks, Servers, Middleware, web services, storage, databases, disaster recovery and all associated hardware and software.
Supervising project engineering process, including kick-off meeting, hardware and software supervision, acceptance test, rollout.
Onsite activities for site survey, installation or commissioning.
Locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering process. .
Onsite support in case of major or critical problems that can't be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA.
Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and keep tracking these problems during the whole resolving process
Assist or conduct product training for customer.
Skills and Experience
Proficient with the following operating systems (Linux, UNIX, WinServer) and mainstream database (Oracle, Informix, Sybase, SQL Server)
Understand protocols such as CCS7, TCP/IP, Routers and switch product
BSS/IT product/project experience.
Proven ability to diagnose and localize issues using logical analysis techniques.
