For one of our clients we are looking for a Business Analyst Logistics
Task Description:
For an Oil super major, we are performing a global SAP rollout, currently within the Central European area. 1st Wave comprises Germany, Austria, and Luxemburg; 2nd wave comprises Poland, Netherlands, Switzerland.
Project duration until end of 2014; current contract until end of 2012
Main task:
Lead the Fit/Gap workshop preparation, execution, and wrap up in BI
-Finish fit/gap analysis
-Be responsible for the conceptual designs (blueprints) in that area
-Find solutions to potential gaps in the pricing area
-At the end of the phase: support the effort estimates for further phases (design, build, etc.)
-Be the point of contact for Pricing related questions from other teams/streams
Required skills:
Excellent understanding of business processes/requirements in transport and logistics of oil and gas
Excellent ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical requirements (and vice versa).
Excellent understanding of technology used, eg SAP IS-Oil, TSW )
5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, several implementation cycles
Project language is English; German is a big plus
Location: Bochum
Start: March 2012
