My client is a large automotive market leader based in Stuttgart and are looking for several cost engineers to join and support it's existing team. Fluent German is required.

The main duties of the employee
cost analysis and cost analysis of software innovation projects in the early development phase of the product creation process
consider this specifications, performance specifications, offers, and conduct interviews with the departments
follow conversations and costs are involved in the negotiation of performance agreements
to assess the requirements for the software on the effectiveness and benefits
Work closely with the departments
Compilation of the results for cost workshops

Seeking qualifications
Experience in the development of control units from the supplier or OEM
In-depth experience in the automotive software development
Knowledge of software architecture and design and implementation
Ideally experience is available in the area of Drive train/Power train

Soft skills:
o Assertiveness
o Communication skills

Industry-specific knowledge and experience
Project Manager experience and Knowledge of CMMI or SPICE
