Tasks
Establish and develop external partners for manufacturing high-precision welding processes for vacuum components,.
Establishing the welding procedures with regards to the requirements of the latest generation of new patented machines
choose and qualify materials for use in the demanding vacuum applications
participate in the initial selection and inspection of suppliers.
Key Skills
Candidates must have successfully completed a master's degree in engineering or mechanical engineering materials science studies with a focus on metallic materials.
professional experience in the field of joining metal based materials
good knowledge of current non-destructive and destructive material testing
Candidates must be team players who are able to work independently
The successful candidate must be able to speak German and English.
