OnSite Labor Staff will possess the following skills:
- Basic troubleshooting skills CzS: has experience in supporting core, distribution and edge areas of most critical networks.
- Fluent in Local Language and conversational English
- Have an understanding of routing/switching network infrastructure and concepts
- Possess knowledge in the following technical competencies;
- Routing protocols (OSPF, BGp, RIP)
- WAN connectivity, T1, DS3, OCx, FR, MPLS
- STP, VTP, Port channels, HSRP, GLBP
- Multicast, Sparse, Dense, MSDP
- NAT
- QoS
- VPNs
- MPLS, LDP, Multi VRF
- Can work with effectively Cisco systems products
- CzS: Good experience with IOS command language
- CzS: Able to perform advised changes on existing Router configurations.
- Understanding of IPT infrastructure and concepts
- Understanding of security infrastructure and concepts
- Has a current Cisco CCNA qualification and shall maintain such certification current and active throughout the duration of the contract, or equivalent qualification as shall be approved in advance by Carrier.
The OnSite Labor Staff shall perform the following activities as requested:
- Cable patching for both copper and fiber in-scope devices.
- Physical IMAC activities for non project related installs of CPE
- Perform access & supervision requests for non project related activities.
- Change/replacement or removal of Equipment
- Routers and Switches (New chassis)
- Router Add/Upgrade/Move an installed device
- Router move - in-building (local tail not impacted, hot cut only)
- Router move - out of building (requiring local tail move)
- Router memory (add to support additional application/protocol)
- Add OOB Modem - add to an existing site or change modem
- Add/Upgrade/Move Voice Cards/Interface (including H/W modifications)
- LAN Switch Hardware Module Upgrade
- LAN Switch Memory Upgrade
- LAN Switch Exchange
- LAN Switch Moves
- Wiring/Cabling within the demarcation points
- IPT Phone replacement
- IPT Phone installations and moves
- CzS: IPT troubleshooting
- Firewall/Security Device cabling (in the event of outages)
- Security Device/Firewall Module, Memory or Power Install/Move/Upgrade or Replacement
- NIC/module replacement
- Local network software upgrades or assistance
The OnSite Labor Staff will perform the following cable activities:
- Cable and Repair between IP Phone and desk socket
- Cable and Repair between desk socket and floor socket
- Cable and Repair between the floor socket and patch panel
- Cable and Repair between the patch panel and devices
- Cable and Repair between devices, ex. Router to Switch
- Cable and Repair between the network devices in Data Center
