On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a Senior ODN Product Mechanical Designing Consultant to work on a contract basis in Munich, Germany.
Main Responsibilities:
• Leading mechanical design of ODN products (closure, optical distribution frame, fiber cross-connection cabinet, fiber division box, terminal box …) based on FTTX network.
• Easily operation ODN node products designing.
• Communicating with local European telecom operators and fully knowing their requirements on the mechanical field.
• Providing proposal to meet the requirements of local European telecom operators.
Qualifications:
• Graduated in mechanical design, material science or engineering, or equivalent with over 8 years experience in mechanical designing...
• Experienced in ODN products mechanical design for at least 8 years.
• High level mechanical designing experience in the world leading ODN products companies would be preferred (such as Tyco/ ADC/ Raychem, Prysmian/ Draka, CORNING, 3M, Huber+Suhner, Reichle & De-Massari, Ericsson, ALU, NSN, …).
• High level mechanical designing experience in the FTTX deployment of local European telecom operator would be preferred.
• Familiar with materials commonly used in ODN products, such as plastic, sheet metal, aluminum and so on.
• Profound understanding international and local operator’s standard of ODN products.
• Familiar with mechanical CAD software, like Pro-engineer.
• Fluently spoken English.
