Front End Developer
You will love working in a team of highly skilled people, all with strong opinions about various technologies, frameworks and approaches to delivery. The Job:
You will be responsible for Hands-on development of solutions, including:
- Develop, test, implement and maintain programs to serve dynamic content to users across multiple platforms.
- Design, develop and maintain presentation layer code to be used in both site and email content.
- Advanced HTML, JavaScript and CSS development across a range of clients and projects.
- Implement industry and company development standards and AKQA design standards in all work, including:
- Develop solutions with the intention of platform interoperability eg. cross-browser compatibility for all web pages.
- Use of standard tools such as Subversion for code control, Bobby for accessibility compliance and Velocity for templating.
- Develop templates using a range of technologies.
- Lead a team of developers on small to medium projects, implementing elements of Agile.
- Integrate Flash and Back End technologies with Front End development work with little assistance
Requirements:-
- Proven experience working as a Web Developer at a senior level.
- Experience of commercial website development.
- A degree ideally in computer science is advantageous.
- Experience working in a creative and/or agency environment is extremely advantageous.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS and strong knowledge of JavaScript
