Project description:
Analysis Application Designer is an Eclipse-based state-of-the-art design tool and Java Runtime code. With this tool you can design interactive web apps & dashboards containing BI data from SAP HANA, Orange, & BW systems. They are displayed using HTML5 technology in Web browsers and on mobile devices. We also support animations and gestures on touch devices such as iPad.
Know-How: Must-have skills:
The candidate must be a quick learner as s/he needs to ramp his knowledge on our proprietary infrastructure and component model very fast.
Based on that s/he will develop components for our design tool and Java runtime using the following technologies: Java, JavaScript, HTML, UI, CSS. The development IDE is Eclipse.
Mandatory:
In-depth experience and advanced skills in cross-browser web development using client-side JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and CSS. JavaScript automated testing experience using jsUnit, QUnit or Jasmine would be a plus.
Experience:
The qualified candidate will have 7+ years of work-related experience in project-based Java Web Development, HTML, UI, CSS
Nice-to-have skills:
Having know-how and experience in Rich Client development, OLAP and SAP BW/BI connectivity would be beneficial. It also would be helpful, if the candidate has worked in a SCRUM environment before. Strong interpersonal skills/Team oriented. The tool is developed by a SCRUM team. As a member of the team, the ideal candidate must be a good communicator in order to sync with management, his colleagues and potentially also with stakeholders/end-users. S/He builds strong relationships at every level of the organization. Can work well in cross-functional teams, including both the User Experience team and our business stakeholders.
