WiFi Integration and Test Engineer - Stuttgart, Germany - A global technology outsourcing company is searching for a WiFi Integration and Test Engineer to join their team in Stuttgart on a contract basis.
the WiFi Integration and Test Engineer will be responsible for integration and testing of a light radio WiFi access point solution and a WiFi backhauling solution.
Candidates must have knowledge of setting up radio test environment (bench) and performing tests - specifically with the Atheros ART-test suite and with Litepoint test devices, expertise in setting up a test plan and in systematic testing, knowledge of radio performance testing (link-budget, interference, bit error rates, modulation adaptation, etc.), detailed knowledge of IEEE standards 802.11a/b/g/h/n/e, expertise with Embedded Linux - ideally with OpenWRT, detailed knowledge on WiFi use-cases (infrastructure, ad-hoc, mesh, backhauling, etc.), ideally also knowledge on MAC protocols like PCFand knowledge on related protocols for WiFi such as CAPWAP, RADIUS, SNMP.
